New year, new changes at Lockatong Engineering

Lockatong Engineering is currently implementing a reorganization plan to accommodate the retirement of its president, Robert Roop, P.E.  Robert will continue to work for several more years, however, on a reduced schedule.  Robert will still be available to support our clients, be responsible for his client work load, and oversee work product technical content and quality.  He will also maintain all of his professional and engineering memberships.

The day-to-day operation of Lockatong will now be handled by Tricia Romano, P.E. who is buying the engineering practice.  As of the first of the year, Tricia has been promoted to Vice President.   Tricia has been with Lockatong Engineering for 15 years, and her experience with the company will help ensure that we continue to provide the same scope of services at the same quality level of work that you have come to expect from our firm.

Additionally, during 2017, Lockatong added two new engineers to our staff:  Craig M. Aukett, P.E. and Joseph J. Keller, P.E.  Robert has already started the gradual shifting of his projects to Craig and Joe.  Joe is responsible for the design of heating, ventilating, air conditioning, plumbing and electrical systems for our hospital and healthcare clients.  Craig is responsible for facility HVAC, mechanical, and structural investigations, upgrades and designs to hospitals, commercial businesses, condominium associations, owners and building contractors.

Barbara Giordano and Cathy Canterino continue in their important administrative roles and will be the first to greet you when you call.

We expect this transition to be seamless and painless for you, our clients and colleagues.
